Short version: the calculators store nothing you type, analytics are minimal, and forms keep only what you send.

What the calculators collect

Nothing. Amounts, countries and modes you enter are computed in your browser. When you use "Share link", your inputs are placed in the link's address so the person you send it to sees the same calculation; they are not sent to us. Analytics records that a calculation happened and for which platform, never the amount.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand which pages and calculators are used. For visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics runs without cookies or any persistent identifier. Elsewhere, PostHog sets a first-party cookie to distinguish returning visits. IP addresses are used to derive an approximate location and are not stored in full.

Advertising

When advertising is enabled, ads are served by Google AdSense. For visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's certified consent management platform is shown before any advertising script loads, and ads are personalised only with your consent. Google's use of data is described in Google's advertising policies. No advertising script is present on the site while advertising is disabled.

Forms

The contact form stores your name, email address and message. The fee report form stores the platform, the page you reported from, your message and, if you give one, your email address. Submissions are stored with Supabase, our database provider, and are used only to answer you and to correct the site. They are deleted once resolved and at the latest 24 months after submission.

To limit abuse, form submissions are rate-limited by IP address. The address is held in memory for one minute and is not written to the database.

Where a page carries a labelled affiliate link, clicking it passes through our own redirect, which records the link, the page it was on, your country and a hashed, unreadable form of your browser's user agent string. This tells us which suggestions are useful. It does not identify you.

Cookies and storage

  • Theme preference: your light or dark choice, stored in your browser's local storage.
  • Language banner: whether you have dismissed the suggestion to read a page in another language, stored in your browser's local storage.
  • Region: a cookie holding only whether you are in a consent region, so the right scripts load. It expires after 30 days.
  • Analytics: a PostHog cookie outside consent regions, as described above.
  • Advertising: Google's cookies, only with consent where consent is required.

Your rights

Under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulations and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Use the contact form or write to . Requests are answered within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
