Upwork fee changelog
Verified against the official pricing page. Open the Upwork calculator.
Initial verification from Upwork's "Learn about the Freelancer Service Fee" help article and "When do I pay a Freelancer Service Fee?" (cross-check), plus "What is the Client Marketplace Fee?", upwork.com/pricing/client, and five withdrawal-method help articles. Confidence medium: the Freelancer Service Fee is a variable per-contract rate stated as a 0%-15% range rather than a flat rate (this rule defaults to 10%, Upwork's own example rate, and the calculator should let the freelancer override it); the Client Marketplace Fee has a gap between the dedicated help article ("up to 7.99%") and the pricing page's flat 5% worked example, both official Upwork pages, so the 5% figure is used with the gap noted. PayPal and Payoneer withdrawal fees are not quantified by Upwork on their help pages ("a small fee" per transfer, no published amount) and are left out rather than guessed.
