Payoneer fees by country

Every rule on Payoneer’s official schedule for United States, the market this calculator covers, as of 3 September 2026. Payoneer's own page lists a separate “From marketplaces and integrated platforms” row as “varies by marketplace” with no rate, so it is not in this table; the receiving-account rows are the closest quantified equivalent. The two percentage withdrawals are published as a range, 1.2% to 4%, and the calculator starts at the 4% ceiling.

Receiving account — local currency (marketplace or client payout)Payoneer's local-currency receiving accounts (US bank details, UK sort code, EU IBAN, etc.) are the mechanism most marketplaces and freelance networks — Upwork, Fiverr, Amazon among them — use to pay a seller when the payout currency matches the receiving account's currency. How much does Payoneer take from a $100.00 payment?

For cross-currency receiving account in United States, Payoneer charges a flat $1.00 up to $99.99, and 1% of the amount above that. Each fee line is rounded half-up to the nearest cent, as the platform bills it, and what you keep is the amount minus the sum of those lines.

A cross-currency receiving account payment: on $100.00 you pay $1.00 (receiving account — different currency (marketplace or client payout)), and keep $99.00, an effective rate of 1%.

The same $100 from a payer using a credit or debit card: on $100.00 you pay $4.48 (payer uses a credit or debit card), and keep $95.52, an effective rate of 4.48%.

A $50 cross-currency receipt, where the $1.00 minimum bites: on $50.00 you pay $1.00 (receiving account — different currency (marketplace or client payout)), and keep $49.00, an effective rate of 2%.

The same $100 received, then withdrawn to a bank with currency conversion at the top of Payoneer's range: on $100.00 you pay $1.00 (receiving account — different currency (marketplace or client payout)) and $3.96 (withdrawal with currency conversion), $4.96 in total, and keep $95.04, an effective rate of 4.96%.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Payoneer take from a $100 payment?

It depends on how the money arrives. Into a receiving account in your own currency, or from another Payoneer balance, nothing: you keep the full $100. Into a receiving account in a different currency, 1% with a minimum of $1.00, so $1.00 on $100 and you keep $99.00. From a payer using a credit or debit card, or PayPal, up to 3.99% plus a fixed $0.49, which is $4.48 on $100 and leaves $95.52.

Does Payoneer charge a fee to receive money?

Only for some routes. Payments from another customer's Payoneer balance and payments into a receiving account in your local currency are free. A receiving account in a currency that is not your local one costs 1%, with a minimum fee of $1.00. A payer using US ACH bank debit, or an EU or UK bank account, costs 1%. A payer using a credit card or PayPal costs up to 3.99% plus $0.49.

What does Payoneer charge to withdraw to my bank account?

To a bank account in the same country and currency as yours, in a supported country, $1.50 per withdrawal. To the recipient's local currency without a conversion, or to another currency with one, Payoneer publishes a range of 1.2% to 4% rather than a single rate, and notes that some countries add a minimum of up to $20.00. Moving funds between your own Payoneer balances costs 0.50%.

What are Payoneer's fees for Upwork, Fiverr or Amazon payouts?

Payoneer does not publish one. Its pricing page lists payments from marketplaces and integrated platforms as “varies by marketplace”, so the rate is set in the deal between Payoneer and that platform and the marketplace states it. Most such payouts arrive through a Payoneer receiving account, so the two receiving-account rows above — free in your local currency, 1% in another — are the closest published equivalent. Check the marketplace's own payout page for its rate.

Does Payoneer charge an annual fee?

Only on a quiet account. Payoneer charges an annual account fee of $29.95, and states that it applies only if the account receives less than $6,000.00 or the equivalent in any 12 consecutive months. Receive more than that in a rolling year and it is not charged. Switch it on in the calculator to see what one payment costs if it is the only one that year.

Are these Payoneer fees up to date?

Every rate here is quoted verbatim from Payoneer's official pricing page, which the platform marks as last updated on 1 January 2026, and was checked on 3 September 2026. The schedule is marked medium confidence because no second source restates the receiving, withdrawal or annual-fee rates, and it is re-verified at least every 60 days.
