Fiverr fees by country
Every rule on Fiverr’s official schedule for United States, the market this calculator covers, as of 3 September 2026. The buyer's service fee is charged at checkout on top of the price, so it never reduces what the seller is paid; withdrawal fees are charged once per payout rather than once per order.
| Fee | Applies to | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Seller service feeFiverr states seller earnings as 80% of the purchase amount rather than naming a 20% fee directly; 100% − 80% = the 20% service fee modelled here. This is the standard Gig/Hourly-Contract rate. Fiverr's Logo Maker product uses a separate 20%–50% seller-earnings tier model (by 12-month sales volume) that this rule does not cover. | Seller | 20% |
| Buyer service feePaid by the buyer on top of the order price; Fiverr does not deduct it from the seller's earnings, so it does not reduce the seller's net. Every payment carries its own fee (an order, an extra and a tip are each charged separately). | Buyer | 5.5% + $3.50 up to $199.99, then 5.5% |
| Optional and sender-paid fees (not deducted unless selected) | ||
| Withdrawal to PayPal$1 USD minimum withdrawal. PayPal may apply its own currency-conversion fees separately, outside Fiverr's fee. | Seller | No fee |
| Withdrawal by bank transfer (via Payoneer)$20 USD minimum withdrawal. Fiverr's Payment Terms document describes Payoneer withdrawal methods with different names and amounts (Local Bank Transfer US$3 per transfer, Direct Deposit ACH US$1 per transfer for US accounts only); this rule follows the help-centre payout-methods table, since that is the page written to answer this exact question. Confidence is medium for this reason. | Seller | $1.00 |
| Withdrawal to a Payoneer account$10 USD minimum withdrawal. See the note on the bank-transfer rule about the Payment Terms document's different categorization of Payoneer methods. | Seller | $3.00 |
| Withdrawal to the Fiverr Revenue Card (standard, about 2 days)$30 USD minimum withdrawal. The Fiverr Revenue Card was discontinued in December 2022 and is available only to existing cardholders. | Seller | $1.00 |
| Withdrawal to the Fiverr Revenue Card (express, about 2 hours)The help-centre table gives a single $1–$3 USD range without explaining the split; the Payment Terms document clarifies US$1 for the roughly 2-day transfer and US$3 for the roughly 2-hour (express) transfer. Discontinued for new cardholders in December 2022; existing cardholders only. | Seller | $3.00 |

How much does Fiverr take from a $100.00 order?
For seller in United States, Fiverr charges 20% of the amount. Each fee line is rounded half-up to the nearest cent, as the platform bills it, and what you keep is the amount minus the sum of those lines.
A seller order: on $100.00 you pay $20.00 (seller service fee), and keep $80.00, an effective rate of 20%.
The same order, withdrawn by bank transfer: on $100.00 you pay $20.00 (seller service fee) and $1.00 (withdrawal by bank transfer (via Payoneer)), $21.00 in total, and keep $79.00, an effective rate of 21%.
A $500 order paid out to a Payoneer account: on $500.00 you pay $100.00 (seller service fee) and $3.00 (withdrawal to a Payoneer account), $103.00 in total, and keep $397.00, an effective rate of 20.6%.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Fiverr take from a $100 order?
- Fiverr keeps 20% of the purchase amount on every completed order and credits the seller the other 80%, on a $100 order and on a $10,000 one alike. The calculator above works the exact cents, and adds the $1 bank-transfer or $3 Payoneer withdrawal fee when you choose one.
Does Fiverr really take 20% of everything?
- Of standard Gig and hourly-contract work, yes. Fiverr's own wording is that you earn 80% of the purchase amount, including Gig Extras and tips, which is the same thing as a 20% service fee. Fiverr's Logo Maker is the exception: it pays sellers on a separate tier model of 20% to 50% by 12-month sales volume, which this calculator does not cover.
What does the buyer pay on top of my price?
- A service fee of 5.5% of the purchase amount, plus $3.50 on any order under $200. Fiverr charges it to the buyer at checkout rather than deducting it from your earnings, so it changes what the order costs the buyer, not what you keep. Every payment carries its own fee, so an order, a Gig Extra and a tip are each charged separately.
How much does it cost to withdraw money from Fiverr?
- Withdrawing to PayPal is free. A bank transfer via Payoneer costs $1, a Payoneer account $3, and the Fiverr Revenue Card $1 for the roughly two-day transfer or $3 for the two-hour express one. The minimum withdrawal is $1 for PayPal, $20 for a bank transfer, $10 for a Payoneer account and $30 for the Revenue Card, which has been closed to new sign-ups since December 2022.
How do I price a Gig so I keep a specific amount?
- Switch the calculator to "I want to net" and enter the amount you want to keep. It finds the smallest order amount whose payout, after the 20% service fee and whichever withdrawal fee you select, lands within one cent of your target.
Are these Fiverr fees up to date?
- Every rate is quoted verbatim from Fiverr's help centre and cross-checked against Fiverr's Payment Terms, and the page shows the date it was checked. Fiverr states these service fees as being in force since September 2025; this schedule was verified on 3 September 2026 and is re-checked at least every 60 days.
