How much does Vinted take from a £100 sale?
- It takes nothing at all: on a £100.00 sale the seller fee is £0.00 and you keep £100.00. Vinted's help centre states that there are no fees for uploading your items or selling them, and that you receive a full payment for your item once the sale is completed. The same is true in Germany, France and the United States.
Is selling on Vinted really free, or is there a hidden cut?
- It is free, and both official pages checked on 3 September 2026 say so independently: the "Is selling on Vinted free?" article states there is no fee for uploading or selling, and the Buyer Protection article describes its fee as one the buyer is charged at checkout. There is no listing fee, no commission on the sale price, no monthly subscription and no separate payment-processing charge on a standard Vinted account. This calculator therefore shows the whole price as your net.
What is the Vinted Buyer Protection fee, and who pays it?
- The buyer pays it, on top of the item price, and it does not touch your payout. Vinted describes it as mandatory for every order and added automatically at checkout, made up of a percentage of the item's or bundle's price plus a fixed amount: 3% to 8% + £0.30 to £0.80 in the United Kingdom, 5% + €0.70 in Germany and France, and 5% + $0.70 in the United States. It includes VAT and is shown in the buyer's order summary before they pay.
What does a buyer actually pay for a £20.00 item?
- £20.90 to £22.40 for the item and Buyer Protection together, before shipping: the fee is £0.90 to £2.40 on a £20.00 price. You still receive £20.00. Vinted publishes the UK fee as a range because it says the calculation varies with item characteristics, order value and whether the order is a single item or a bundle, so treat the two ends as the boundaries rather than a quote.
Are Vinted's fees different in Germany, France or the United States?
- The seller side is identical everywhere: free. The buyer side differs only in how it is published. Germany and France both state 5% + €0.70, and the United States states 5% + $0.70, each a single rate rather than the range the UK page gives. On a €50.00 item in Germany that is €3.20, so the buyer pays €53.20 and you keep €50.00.
