Grailed's terms put the processing fee on the whole transaction, shipping included, either way.

How much does Grailed take from a $100.00 sale?
For sellers onboarded with stripe in United States, Grailed charges a tiered rate (6% (9% above $119.99)) (seller commission) plus 3.49% of the amount plus a fixed $0.49 (payment processing — Stripe onboarded, domestic). Each fee line is rounded half-up to the nearest cent, as the platform bills it, and what you keep is the amount minus the sum of those lines.
A domestic sale, with your Stripe account onboarded: on $100.00 you pay $6.00 (seller commission) and $3.98 (payment processing — Stripe onboarded, domestic), $9.98 in total, and keep $90.02, an effective rate of 9.98%.

- A $100 sale price sits in the reduced bracket, so the commission is 6%, which is $6.00. A seller onboarded with Stripe pays 3.49% plus $0.49 of payment processing on top, which is $3.98, so the fees come to $9.98 and you keep $90.02. If the buyer is abroad the processing rate rises to 4.99% plus $0.49, the fees become $11.48 and you keep $88.52.
When does Grailed charge 9% instead of 6%?
- At a sale price of $120 and above. Grailed's fee table sets the standard rate at 9% and a reduced rate of 6% under $120, applicable to sales on or after 20 May 2026. The sale price is not always the listing price: it is the listing price plus any shipping charged to the buyer, unless you ship with a Grailed Label. A $110 listing with $15 of buyer-paid shipping is a $125 sale price, so it is charged 9%.
What is Grailed's $1.99 minimum fee?
- The reduced 6% bracket carries a stated minimum of $1.99, so any sale price below about $33.17 is charged $1.99 rather than the percentage. On a $20 sale that is $1.99 of commission plus $1.19 of payment processing, leaving you $16.82 of the $20.00, an effective rate of 15.90%. The minimum is why small items cost proportionally more to sell than the 6% headline suggests.
What is Grailed's payment processing fee?
- It depends on your Stripe status, and Grailed publishes three separate schedules. Onboarded with Stripe, it is 3.49% + $0.49 on US domestic payments and 4.99% + $0.49 on international ones. In a Stripe-supported country but not onboarded, it is 3.49% + $0.99 domestically and 5.49% + $0.99 internationally. Outside a Stripe-eligible country it defaults to 4.99% + $0.49, with no domestic or international split.
Does Grailed take commission on shipping?
- Yes, when the buyer pays for shipping and you do not use a Grailed Label: Grailed's fees article says the sale price is the listing price plus any shipping costs charged to the buyer. Ship on a Grailed Label and the sale price is the listing price only, which both lowers the commission and can keep a sale inside the 6% bracket. The payment processing fee is different: Grailed's terms assess it on the total transaction amount including shipping, so a Label does not take shipping out of that half of the bill.
How do I price a Grailed listing so I keep a round number?
- Adding the fee to your target is not enough, because the commission and the processing fee are charged on the higher price too. Switch the calculator to "I want to net" and enter what you want to keep: to keep $100 with your Stripe account onboarded you list at $111.02 and the fees are $11.02. It also handles the awkward part of the bracket, where two different prices can leave you the same amount, by returning the cheaper listing price.
