- For a Home and Kitchen item that Amazon fulfills in the large standard 4 to 8 ounce band, Amazon takes a 15% referral fee of $15.00 and a fulfillment fee of $4.21, which is $19.21 on $100, leaving $80.79. Ship the order yourself and only the referral fee applies, so you keep $85.00.
What is the Amazon referral fee for my category?
- It depends on what you sell. Most categories are 15%, Computers and Consumer Electronics are 8%, Amazon Device Accessories is 45%, and a few categories change rate with the price: Clothing and Accessories is 5% up to $15.00, 10% to $20.00 and 17% above that. How is the FBA fulfillment fee calculated?
- Amazon picks one flat fee per unit from a table indexed by size tier, packed weight and the sale price. The same large standard 4 to 8 ounce unit costs $3.13 to fulfill under $10.00, $3.95 from $10.00 to $50.00 and $4.21 above $50.00. Three bands are formulas instead: large standard over 3 lb adds $0.08 for every 4 ounce interval over 3 lb, and both bulky tiers add $0.38 per pound interval over the first pound.
Does Amazon charge a monthly fee as well?
- The Professional selling plan is $39.99 a month whatever you sell, so it is not part of a per-sale calculation and this calculator leaves it out. Individual sellers pay $0.99 per item instead, which is a per-sale fee: tick the individual selling plan option to include it. Monthly inventory storage is $0.78 per cubic foot from January to September and $2.40 from October to December for standard-size units; enter your unit's volume to see one month of it.
What is the low-inventory-level fee?
- When a product's historical days of supply falls below 28 days, Amazon adds a per-unit fee on top of the fulfillment fee. For a large standard unit up to 3 lb it is $0.36 between 21 and 28 days, $0.70 between 14 and 21 days and $0.97 below 14 days. Small standard units pay less and bulky units pay more.
