How much does Poshmark take from a $100.00 sale?
For sales in United States, Poshmark charges a flat $2.95 up to $14.99, and 20% of the amount above that. Each fee line is rounded half-up to the nearest cent, as the platform bills it, and what you keep is the amount minus the sum of those lines.
A sales sale: on $100.00 you pay $20.00 (seller commission), and keep $80.00, an effective rate of 20%.
A sale one cent under the $15.00 threshold: on $14.99 you pay $2.95 (seller commission), and keep $12.04, an effective rate of 19.68%.
The same item priced at the threshold: on $15.00 you pay $3.00 (seller commission), and keep $12.00, an effective rate of 20%.
A sale in Canada: on CA$100.00 you pay CA$20.00 (seller commission), and keep CA$80.00, an effective rate of 20%.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Poshmark take from a $100 sale?
- Poshmark's commission is 20% of the whole sale price once the price reaches $15.00, so on $100.00 it takes $20.00 and you keep $80.00. Under that threshold the commission is the flat $2.95 instead: on a $10.00 sale you pay $2.95 and keep $7.05.
Why does a sale at the threshold pay more than a sale one cent below it?
- Because the fee switches on the whole price rather than tapering. At $14.99 the flat fee applies and you keep $12.04; at $15.00 the 20% commission applies to the full price, so the fee is $3.00 and you keep $12.00. You have to price at $15.05 before you keep $12.04 again, so the few cents above the threshold are the worst prices on Poshmark.
Does Poshmark charge a listing fee?
- No. Poshmark's fee policy states that it is always free to list an item, and the commission is the only fee it deducts from a sale: there is no listing fee, no category fee, no monthly fee and no separate payment-processing fee. Buyers pay the shipping cost, and Poshmark supplies the seller with a prepaid label.
What are Poshmark's seller fees in Canada?
- Canada uses the same shape with its own numbers: a flat CA$3.95 on sales under CA$20.00 and 20% at or above it. On CA$100.00 the commission is CA$20.00 and you keep CA$80.00. Canada also charges GST or HST on the commission itself, deducted from your earnings at a rate that depends on your province, so your actual payout is a little lower than the figure here.
How do I price an item to keep a specific amount?
- Switch the calculator to "I want to net" and enter what you want to keep. To keep $50.00 you list at $62.50. Around the threshold the answer is not unique, because a price just under it can keep as much as a higher one; the calculator quotes the price at or above the switch.
Are these Poshmark fees up to date?
- Both rules are quoted verbatim from Poshmark's fee policy, which is incorporated into its terms of service, and were checked on 3 September 2026; the US policy has been in force since 25 November 2024. Poshmark's support-centre fee articles block automated access, so no second official page corroborates these figures and the schedule is marked single-source. It is re-verified at least every 60 days.
