How much does Whop take from a $100.00 sale?
For card in United States, Whop charges 2.7% of the amount plus a fixed $0.30. Each fee line is rounded half-up to the nearest cent, as the platform bills it, and what you keep is the amount minus the sum of those lines.
Domestic card sale: on $100.00 you pay $3.00 (card payment (domestic)), and keep $97.00, an effective rate of 3%.
The same payment from a buyer abroad: on $100.00 you pay $3.00 (card payment (domestic)) and $1.50 (international card surcharge), $4.50 in total, and keep $95.50, an effective rate of 4.5%.
The same payment taken by ACH from a US bank account: on $100.00 you pay $1.50 (aCH direct debit), and keep $98.50, an effective rate of 1.5%.
The same payment split by a financing partner: on $100.00 you pay $15.00 (buy-now-pay-later financing), and keep $85.00, an effective rate of 15%.
A card payment withdrawn straight away by Instant Bank Deposit: on $100.00 you pay $3.00 (card payment (domestic)) and $4.88 (Payout — Instant Bank Deposit (RTP)), $7.88 in total, and keep $92.12, an effective rate of 7.88%.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Whop take from a $100 sale?
- A US seller pays 2.7% + $0.30 on a card payment, which is $3.00 on $100, leaving $97.00. The same $100 paid by ACH from a US bank account costs $1.50, and paid through a financing partner it costs $15.00, leaving $85.00. Nothing else is deducted unless you switch it on.
Does Whop charge a platform fee or a marketplace commission?
- Not as of 3 September 2026. Whop's pricing page, its fees documentation and its Seller Terms state payment processing and optional add-ons only; no separate platform fee and no commission on marketplace or Discovery sales appear on any of them. A sale made through Whop's marketplace is billed the same 2.7% + $0.30 card rate as a sale from your own storefront or link.
What does Whop charge for a card issued outside the United States?
- An extra 1.5% on top of the card rate, so a $100 payment costs $4.50 instead of $3.00 and you keep $95.50. If the buyer's currency also has to be converted, currency conversion adds 1% more, which the calculator adds only when you tick it. Neither charge applies to ACH or financing.
How much does Whop charge to pay me out?
- It depends on how you withdraw. Next-day ACH is $2.50 a payout, Instant Bank Deposit is 4% + $1.00, crypto and Venmo are 5% + $1.00, and a bank wire is $23.00. The fee comes out of the balance you withdraw, not the sale, so on one $100 card payment an Instant Bank Deposit costs $4.88 and leaves $92.12.
What are Whop's optional add-on fees?
- Four percentages of the payment, each charged only while the feature is on: payment orchestration at 0.8%, automated billing at 0.5%, tax calculation and remittance at 2%, and affiliate processing at 1.25% on an affiliate-driven sale. With all four on, a $100 card payment costs $7.55 rather than $3.00.
How do I price a product so I keep a specific amount?
- Switch the calculator to "I want to net" and enter what you want to keep. The fee is charged on the whole amount the buyer pays, so adding the rate to your target is not enough: to keep $100 on a card payment you charge $103.08, and on a financed payment you charge $117.65. The calculator finds the smallest price whose net lands within one cent of your target.
